Kundapur: Fire engulfs in fishing boat in Gangolli coast

Kundapur: An atmosphere of fear geared among the fishermen after the huge fire engulfed in a fishing boat in the Arabian sea of Gangolli in Kundapur taluk on 7th November, Tuesday.

Sources said around 10 to 12 fishermen were on board during the incident. Observing the fire, the fishermen jumped into the water, who were then rescued by another fishing boat. The incident happend when the boat was 15 nautical miles away from the Marvanthe shore.

The estimated loss due to the incident is more than 60 lacs rupees.
