Couple from different communities handed over to police by Bajrang Dal activists in Mangaluru

Mangaluru: A couple from different communities that were found to be moving around under suspicious circumstances near Kulai, Suratkal, on Thursday, was handed over to police by Bajrang Dal activists. The activists urged Suratkal police to act against the couple legally.

Safan, aged 21, from Thota Bengre, and the girl living in the vicinity of Mangaladevi area had arrived at the house of the Safan's relative at Kulai Kavinakallu on Thursday afternoon.

The Bajrang Dal activists, who got this information, rushed near the couple and questioned them. It revealed that they work for a mall in the city and had visited the relative of the young man on a motorbike during lunch time.

The girl was later sent away with a warning, while the family of the man was also given information about the incident.
