Yellapur: Illegal cattle trafficking - 4 arrested

Yellapur: The Yellapur police have arrested four people alleging that they were involved in illegal cattle trafficking from Kolhapur of Maharashtra to Kasargod of Kerala. Sources informed that around 18 cattle were seized during the raid.

The incident happened on the midnight of 11th October, Wednesday in Yellapur town limits.

The accused were identified as Jaleel M Hameed (49), K. Bala Ambu (48), Ahmed Kabeer Abdullah (30) and Sameer Muhammad (32). All are said to be the residents of Kasargod in Kerala.

Police inspector Manjunath Naik along with PSI Shridar SR participated in the raid. 

The accused were produced in the court.
