Bengaluru (UNI): Opposition BJP in Karnataka will launch Statewide 'jail bharo' agitation on Friday against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's remarks that BJP and RSS were extremists, BJP General Secretary and Lok Sabha member Shobha Kharandlje said here on Thursday.

Speaking to reporters, she said the party's activists would launch protests in support of the RSS.
The BJP has demanded apologies from Siddaramaiah and KPCC working president Dinesh Gundu Rao over the issue.
The BJP has also threatened to file a defamation suit against Siddaramaiah.

Earlier today, speaking in Mysuru district, Siddaramaiah appeared to go soft on his earlier statement saying that the two organisations were terrorist outfits.
