Bhatkal's New Shams school selected for state-level IT Quiz competition

Bhatkal: In a Belgaum divisional level IT Quiz competition that held in Dr. Paatil Putappa hall in Dharwad under the aegis of TATA consultancy, the New Shams high school of Bhatkal bagged second place and has been selected for the state level competition. This information was given by the school management during a press release. 

It was said that a team led by students Amanullah Dauna and Farhan Akrami will be representing New Shams high school in the state level Rural IT Quiz on 13th October in Tumkur.

In Belgaum division level, amongst 555 teams, only 6 teams qualified for finals, which also included Bhatkal's Anand Ashram PU College, Shams English medium high school, and New Shams school. At the end, Anand Ashram PU College and New Shams school qualified for state-level competition.
