Yellapur: 3 held in a year old case

Yellapur: Yellapur police arrested three persons in Hubballi on Saturday, in connection with a year-old theft case reported in October 2017 at Yellapur.

The arrested Aslam Hussainsab Savanur (30), Dadapeer Hussainsab Savanur (32), are residents of Hubballi and Arbaz Khan (20) is of Bengaluru. They had stolen a TV, Rs 23,000 cash and a gold finger ring from the houses belonging to retired deputy tahsildar Hasan Shaikh of Islam Galli and one Shankar Baddi of Akbar Galli in the town.

Yellapur police have registered a case in this regard and produced the accused to the court. A team of police officials including ASI S V Chavan, Nagappa Lamani, Gajanan Naik, Uday Harikanthra, Krishna Matroji conducted raid under the directions of ASP D L Nagesh and Yellapur CPI Manjunath Nayak.
