15 teachers in Karwar Education District to be felicitated today on the occasion of 'Teachers Day'

Karwar: Ten primary school teachers and five high school teachers have been selected for the ‘Best Teacher of the District’ award this time. They will be felicitated during the Teachers Day celebration to be held at Honnavar on September 5, informed Deputy Director of Public Instruction of Karwar Education District N G Naik.

Lower primary school teachers who have been selected for the award are Sumana Nayak of Shejwad in Karwar taluk, Sunanda Naik of Kantri in Ankola, Sumangala Hegde of Mooruru Musugoppa near Kumta, Shalini Shanbag of Jambolli in Honnavar and Dharmappa M of Kundur in Bhatkal.

Higher primary school:

Higher primary school teachers selected for the award are Shaila Salunke of Baazar School in Karwar, Girish Nayak of Shedgeri in Ankola, Ganapathi Naik of Holanagadde in Kumta, Tara Hegde of Mallukurva in Honnavar and Tara Naik of Jali in Bhatkal.

High school:

High school teachers to be felicitated are Siddara Mallikarjun School, Karwar headmaster Girish Patil, Mohan Naik of Sunkasal Government High School in Ankola, Lakshman Ambiga of Chitragi Mahatma Gandhi High School in Kumta, Philomena Rodrigues of Janata Vidyalaya in Kasarkod in Honnavar and Mahesh Hanabaratti of Janata Vidyalaya in Murdeshwar.
