149 booths video recorded in Uttara Kannada

Karwar: The District Administration had kept a hawk's eye on the 149 polling booths across the district and watched video recordings through web casting system.

The facility was provided at 21 polling booths in Haliyal, 26 in Karwar, 21 in Kumta, 26 in Bhatkal, 30 in Sirsi and 26 polling booths in Yallapur assembly constituency.

For the observation of polling activities, an arrangement was made at deputy commissioner's management committee, from where Deputy Commissioner S S Nakul and other officials watched the recordings since 4:00 am on Saturday.
